Marketing and Siew Mai

There really isn’t a correlation, unless we consider marketing siew mai or buying siew mai (think going to the ‘market’ to do ‘marketing’ for siew mai) Anyhow, I jest!

Was in school the good part of the day for the RAS group meeting and I was lost in the session on peptide sequencing. Not my cup of tea and not my area of research, so was totally lost during Max’s talk, even though it was quite a good presentation.

Went to YIH IT Co-Op this morning to pick up the form for the Laptop 2nd purchase. Yea! I think I shall place order on Thursday. Need any more 2nd thoughts?! hmm …

Also went to the Forum Co-Op after all the meetings and “gossip” session and found yet another book. Alright, I’m still in the midst of my other book – and it is a good book, with good insights, but I couldn’t resist this other book, since it was like a steal. It was a good summary of alot of marketing books. It would be like reading 1 book but in fact reading books from 10 different very well established and famous authors.

Reviews of the book shall have to wait, while I balance all my readings … will make it through all of them, but it’s a case of slowly and stedily!

So, finally back to my topic. I wanted to eat Siew Mai and so … I did a little extra stuff for the main dish.

Presenting: Chilled Linguine in Soba sauce on top of boiled Asparagus and served with Siew Mai
