my 3rd box has been unpacked

and I realized that the pants that I tailored in Shanghai which I thought was in it, was not!!!!!!

Oh but I am certain that I did not leave it in Shanghai, cos’ we checked that we left nothing behind.

Maybe one of the other guys took it since they all left earlier then me. Guys, please check ok? Its a brownish grey pants that I tailored, so there should not be any label or tag on it. I’m sure if you found a pants that was too big for you, it has too be mine.

Sighs! My first tailored pants and its missing. Now, I don’t have a match for the coat of the suit.

想也是，想也不是，为何费尽这么多心思去想呢？在我的生命中，我觉得每当要做一个决定或者要做些什么事之前，都必须花好长的时间来想怎样去做才是最适当，怎样去面对才是最好，怎样去应付才能够达到最好的效果。有点过于的婆婆妈妈，太过谨慎而有一点缺少冒险的精神。说好听的话就是说我是个非常谨慎的人。说难听的就说我是个不够主见的人。现在的我和一年前很不一样。在个性方面可能没有很大的变化，但在思路方面我觉得我已经更成熟了。现在的我看着周围的人有一点不一样，对日常生活中所发生的事情也有点改变。我这个思路方面的改变不是件坏事。将要转二十五岁而又要毕业的我，现在看待将来有点兴奋也有点害怕。我兴奋将来能够带给我的种种经验和刺激，但又有一点害怕将来的不确定性。说着说着，我也不能够改变任何事，将来的事也只能等待它来临。现在只能够掌握好现在，不要让宝贵的时光以我而去。希望我能够把握好目前的青春。

old friends

old friends will always be old friends.

They simply remain the same all these years. Similar chracter, similar chat topics (although sometimes I still don’t get them – esp those about TV), similar complains, similar trash. (“,)

Guess after all these years, its great that we still meet regularly (or at least for each others birthdays and christmas). Like what Charles say, this year is like a pivotal year in our lifes. We all finally graduate. After that, it would be a long new phase of our lives.

Anyway, here are the pictures taken @ Nooch. The food there ain’t too great and I think it got alittle worst from what I remembered.

the pink panther

The show’s protaganist – Inspector Clouseau – was acted by Steve Martins. Steve is indeed one of the older generation comedians that have made us laughed really hard. Such comedians are very hard to come by these days and I admire his talent!

In short, the show was humorous, rather slap stick, but was a good laugh. One cannot imagine a person so dumb as Inspector Clouseau!!! The show also featured the beautiful Beyonce. As usual, doing her thing, singing in her beautiful voice and looking gorgeous . I liked the “hamburger” part, when the inspector was trying to speak with an american accent as well as the time when he actually tasted the “american junk food” and feel madly in love with it that he wanted to “sneak” it on board the plane!!!

The show has nothing to do with the original pink panther show, except for the opening credits where they had the cartoon strut around. I think the naming of the show was simply a marketing ploy to generate hype for the show. Nonetheless, a decent enough show. Of course, I had great company for the show.

officially, the end of the mid term break

, and the going gets tougher and more fast paced. (unless you are a student from a “shall not be named” faculty, who takes “shall not be named” modules, and do not have that many assignments nor tutorials to complete. (Seriously, not talking about anyone in particular!)

With 1 and half more months left of the semester, there is so much to catch up, so much to achieve. Time has been compressed into a whirlwind, sweeping through without hesitation and without ever stopping. Time passes so slowly, yet so quickly. Very quickly, my deadline draws near. The question, for better or worse, will have to be answered.

quarter life crisis

A lot of friends are turning 25 or have turned 25 this year. They have lived for a quarter of a century (including myself.) Last year when I was in Shanghai and I was upset for a bit, zihui told me that I might be having a quarter life crisis. I wasn’t totally convinced at that time (after all, I was only 24, hahaha, near by not yet) but I think its becoming more evident.

People around me are into this whole QLC. Maybe its the graduating feeling and the fact that reality of working finally kicks in. After all, graduation is like another turning point in a person’s life. Its life changing!!! Probably, while we are at life changing stages, we should always try to change it for the better. (“,)

Just wanted to get this down, because got alot of friends all talking about what job they looking out for liao. So, all the best to those hunting around. Hope you find your prey soon.

Indeed, its time to WORK!!!

someone clearly forgot to inform me that holidays were meant to be more busy than normal days

and therefore, I am jammed packed with events, activities, lessons, tutorials, assignments, projects, etc. Its good that I am constantly occupied, but its not as satisfying when you are busy for a reason that you do not really feel for. (That’s yet another lament that needn’t be repeated. No point!)

Went to school for some NOC sharing session for a Sino-SEP exchange program between Chinese students and local students. I found that the NOC segment arranged was really out of point for their trip and clearly not something that was productive. (No offence to anyone for whatever hard work put in!) It was a simple sharing session, none to difficult, none to exciting. However, I had to wake up so early, lucky got Kenny who volunteered for the earlier slot, then I could just come later.

After that session, went off with mz for the shoot. Bear came to pick us up from NUS and got us back to his place. mz was supposed to drive his MANUAL car later on while bear cycled to the studio. After spending like 10 mins, 5 failed attempts and 4 dying of the engine, and frequent concerned questioning by me as a passenger, mz asked if I wanted to try. Fortunately, I still could drive a manual car. In fact, I realized that as long as there was power steering, I should have no problem driving a manual or an automatic car. So, I safely reached Lim Tuo Tow Road. Literally – 林大头!!! Its somewhere near Serangoon. We went to Ervine’s studio to do the shoot. Hope the stuff turns out well, despite the mis-cue when mz shot me without loading the film properly. heh!

After that, rushed down to Bukit Gombak (thanks to bear for the lift) and continued ith my golf lesson. I finally realized what was a good posture and technique. Mr. Law managed to correct my set up position. My hands were just placed a little too high than normal. Got quite a number of good balls today. Yea! mq and fionna, don’t give up ok. Just need to practise much more with the proper technique. You all already can hit the ball right once in a while, so its there already, just need to get the moment right again.

On my long journey back home, I bumped into chongyao’s brother at clementi taking 156. He is in computing!!! heh! No comments … …

back to work, or should i just nuah and watch a movie … hmm … (“,) tmr still got to go Astute, maybe prepare some stuff first!

i not stupid too

It was a good show.

In spite of the over acting in certain areas, over exagerration at times, I think the show was brilliant and it captured a lot about Singapore. The lifestyle, the way of life, the mentality towards kids, towards parents, towards society and the government. Many times we take things for granted and as humans, we very often forget the simpler things in life which is to show appreciation/love to the people we care about. We get too bogged down with material pursuit and when we have achieved it all, we realized that it had caused the lost of something dear.

The show also pointed out that continously scolding your kids is not called education. During the show there was this baby crying in the cinema and the mother after like 1/4 of the show decided that she had enough of the crying and carried the baby out and scolded the baby on the way out, “later then I let you have it!” Did she not watch the show and miss the gist of the show? Attention from the parents do not just come in one form – money. A lot of times its the simpler things such as a “good morning” or a “how’s your day?” that makes each day so much brighter for someone.

In conclusion, bring happiness and joy to someone near you right now. Show them you appreciate them, and that you care about who they really are. (“,)

I must admit that I am way too emotional. Think I teared a couple of times during the show. The most wrenching part was when Jerry, told his dad that he stole the money and sold all his Pokemon cards just to buy 1 hour of his dad’s time, wanting him to go for his performance. So, heart wrenching!!!

The show also had many hilarious moments which were really a satire of life in Singpaore. Overall, it was a great show and a magnificent job done.
