as I was walking to meet Shuhui at the Giant Coke Bottle today for lunch, I had a sudden thought …

There are 3 types of people in the work place … a worker … a manager … and a leader …

hmm … looking back on my life … and what i have done over the past few years … I think I will make a good worker … as well as make a very good manager … but I think I still lack being a good leader …

anyway, that’s besides the point …

went to Shallene’s office today … and she was so farnie as usual … she said that we could come over to see her office … that her boss won’t mind as she sits quite inside and she always looks at her monitor screen … so … we went up to the 29th level and then Shallene said she will check out the situation for us first before we go in … GREEN light … so we walked in … and then we walked around the office … its nice … and Shallene’s boss was looking at us … Shallene still felt oblivious to the boss’s stare … haha … She felt that if she could not see her Boss’s stare then her Boss cannot see her too … haha .. so farnie … “I don’t see you, you don’t see me!”

worked in the office till ard 7 pm again today … something is changing here … I feel the world around me slowly changing form … suddenly after being so damn free for such a long long time, I suddenly feel used … I was a little stunned this morning actually … I sat there for 1 minute just wondering what I should do first … haha … then I figured it was finally good that I am doing more stuff as the main objective of coming here was to get to be involved in the business as much as possible … ok … like I said before … when this job was thrust into my face I knew it was the one … I could not have been mistaken …

oh before I forget again … I was suppose to write something about SHEN’s AGM that happened last weekend just so that I remember this many years later … ok … so we nominated our (very expected) President – Phang Min Chuan … (“,) … told you no excuse you use will get you out of it … haha! No worries lah … I’m sure you will do a great job!

Yes, dinner tonight … off liao … I keep jumping from one topic to another .. brain is in mumbo jumbo … we had dinner (sh, hj and i) at some Malaysian Eatery … we ordered Bah Kut Teh, Stewed Pig’s Knuckle, Veges and tofu … it was a good meal that cost only 54 RMB … ok …

and I stayed in the office till 6.40 pm … hmm … sitting at my desk finally, I realized that everyone was offline except for Zihui … unusual considering that I usually go off for classes at Fudan University … well, for people who know enough … you know what I do at class … heh … so maybe I didn’t miss anything except some “personal gain”

Met Junice today, who came over to our office to dicuss a possible collaboration for her event that will be taking place … nice long chat … and my boss is as farnie as ever …

problem with event space availability … sighs! hope tmr everything will be settled !!!

Sales meeting with my boss … ooo … got sales target now for June 1 to end August … hmm … now, must see how to hit target liao … cross fingers, pray and work hard …

today i think I got more white hair … sians … maybe i get white hair everyday … shall relax …

ooo … think i am rambling … still groggy from lack of sleep for the past few days … saturday night slept at 4 +, yesterday night slept at 2+ … now still pretending to be going strong … heh … I am strong … I am invincible … wahahaha!!!

ok … ok … i got my domain name … but I still think i want a nicer one … or more funky one other than it just being my name …

I am awake …

yes, I am awake at this time even though I slept at 4+ am yesterday (or this morning) … I can’t figure out why I cannot get to sleep … sians! Later must find time to take afternoon nap or else tmr go to work sure concuss …

wanted to write alot of things for the past few days, but never got down to it … then no also dun bother liao … next time if got the feeling or the mood then i can contemplate writing it down again.

got myself a new mobile number …

why? (a couple of reasons, really!)

1. China Mobile has better connection.
2. China Mobile can SMS to overseas handphone numbers (China Unicom only can call) [very weird that they seperate the market into 2 so distinctively][anyhow, i think china mobile got a IP 17951 card link to the mobile, so also can call out to overseas number. RMB3.60 per min]
3. In anticipation of my mum coming, so she can use a local line while she is here.

What i initially wanted to do was change number, and let my old number only be used for work. Alot of the senior batch, NTU students who have my old number are leaving, so its really a good time to switch. Sounds good, right … well, then it becomes a problem … since i wanted to lend my mum a number when she comes, so, which number am I suppose to lend? the work one or the new one. will leave that to another day to think about.

for now, i’m having fun using M-Zone. Even got the 彩铃 feature, which lets me play some song while u call me … well, its more like people who call me get to hear the song … but oh well … its fun!

time is flying very fast

its the last week of May already …

everyday just goes by so quickly … but of course you don’t feel that time goes pass fast enough while in the office … who ever loves work?

need to find a state of loving work … if not working will be so big a chore …

hmm … think alot of people think very little of themselves … they come so far, but feel that they only have just gotten by somehow …

like just making it through school, just doing enough to pacify parents, family, friends, teachers, school, etc …

actually, everyone doesn’t fully utlize their full potential most of the time. what i think we need to do is find our passion. That is something that is truly lacking in young people nowadays, especially Singaporeans… (or maybe it isn’t fair to make such a sweeping statement … at least its true for me … ) I still lack that passion, that drive, that something extra that will make me on the edge day and night to achieve something Big or Grand or Significant …

Anyhow, things doesn’t always have to Big, Grand or Significant to be given extra notice … sometimes its the simplest of things done in the most dedicated manner that makes a difference in other people’s life and possibly even your own … (no example as yet … sorry!)

I want to end of by saying that everyone is special … no one is really alike and everyone brings along a special something to where ever they go … all we have to do is truly be ourselves and not be what others want you to be and you would be that special person everywhere you go to …
